Chris just wrapped up shooting an expanded version of After the Storm, which will be published in the summer of 2012. It will include over 100 photographs, plus a portrait gallery chronicling several generations of the surfing community of the Outer Banks. The book is a mix of documentary, impressionist rendering, fantasy, landscape and fast-action photography. It creates a portrait of a unique place and documents the tribe of wave-riders who have chosen to make this thin strip of sand their home.
